Nigerien junta spokesman Col. Maj. Amadou Abdramane says the toppled government of Mohammed Bazoum has authorized France to bomb the presidential place in order to free the detained president. He said the authorization was signed by Niger Foreign Affairs Minister Hassoumi Massoudou.
