Fears of Stunting Prompt Urgent Calls For Food Aid For Zimbabwe
UNICEF representative for Zimbabwe Jane Muita said the largest concern around the impact of food shortage in the country, is the onset of stunting due to acute malnutrition. She said 28% face health challenges, and even death, due to stunting. UNICEF has appealed for $21million in food aid.
