Following recent Russian missile and drone attacks on energy infrastructure, Ukraine’s energy operator Ukrenergo has been conducting emergency shutdowns in the Kyiv area. Russia has repeatedly hit the Ukraine's capital and other cities, often targeting critical power and water facilities.
