Faced with COVID-19, Americans Rally to Help US Elders
The elderly are among the most vulnerable to the coronavirus. Friends, neighbors and local organizations are stepping up to assist older people who aren’t leaving their homes right now. The volunteers run errands like food shopping or picking up medication. VOA’s Arash Arabasadi reports
