American Music Legend Aretha Franklin Dies at 76
The long-reigning "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin, known for such hit songs as "Respect" and "Chain of Fools," died Thursday, at age 76. According to one of her publicists, Franklin had pancreatic cancer, and died at her home in Detroit, Michigan. Franklin had 18 Grammys and some 25 gold records.
