The Chair of the Zimbabwe Election Commission Priscilla Chigumba declares incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa winner of the Monday, July 30, 2018 elections. Mnangagwa garnered 50.8% of the voter, while opposition MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa got 44.3% of the vote.
