New Zimbabwe Army Commander Announces End to Operation Restore Order, Urges Continued Peace
Newly appointed Zimbabwe army chief, Valerio Sibanda, announced the end of the operation that ended the 37-year rule of former President Robert Mugabe. In announcing the end of Operation Restore Legacy, Sibanda urged citizens to remain alert and to allow a smooth transition of government.
