U.S. Analyst Cautions Against Hasty U.S. Re-Engagement With Zimbabwe, Citing Lack of Reforms
Speaking before the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Wednesday, during a hearing on "Zimbabwe After Mugabe," IRI's Deputy Director for Africa Elizabeth Lewis urged the U.S. Congress to maintain sanctions on Zimbabwe, until democratic reforms and respect for human rights are implemented and observed.
