South African Author Says Democracy Thrives in Open Countries
Director Greg Mills of the Brenthurst Foundation says a country that is open is more likely to adopt democratic principles such as better governance and a stronger legal framework. Mills spoke at Atlantic Council in Washington, with co-author Tendai Biti, a VP in Zimbabwe's opposition MDC.
