In South Africa and around the world, fans of the Ladysmith Black Mambazo are mourning the death of the group's founder, Joseph Shabalala. Shabalala and his band provided back up harmonies to Paul Simon's 1986 Graceland before introducing their indigenous music to the world, to widespread acclaim.
