Six orphaned elephant calves have been translocated 900 kilometers from Harare to a forest reserve near Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Each calf was rescued by Wild is Life and the International Fund for Animal Welfare and has spent up to three years receiving round-the-clock care from staff. (Reuters)
