WASHINGTON —
Former Zimbabwean finance minister and presidential candidate, Simba Makoni, has pinned the country’s ongoing economic crisis, on President Robert Mugabe and his government.
The leader of the opposition party Mavambo-Kusile-Dawn, who contested in the country’s 2008 presidential elections, has also championed the coming together of opposition parties, to form a stronger opposition against the ruling Zanu-pf party.
In an interview with Blessing Zulu of VOA’s Zimbabwe Service, Makoni says President Mugabe has failed to make critical decision on issues that affect the country.
