WASHINGTON —
Harare soccer giants, Dynamos Football Club, have fired coach Lloyd Chigove following a string of loses in the Premier Soccer League this season.
The club executive fired the coach Tuesday morning, less than 24 hours after the once glamorous team fell to minnows, Herantals, in Harare. Herentals beat Dembare 1-0.
Dynamos were also beaten by Hwange and Chicken Inn in previous games.
Club chairman Isaiah Mupfurutsa confirmed that they have parted ways with Chigove. He said another coach will be appointed before the end of this week.
Indications are that the club is negotiating with former skipper Tonderai Ndiraya for a possible return to Dembare.
Richard Chihoro and Edward Sadomba are currently in charge of the team.
