Zimbabwean singer Cynthia Mare said Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Oliver Mtukudzi, Chioneso Maraire and others, inspired her to sing. Mare performed at the recent annual ZimExpo held in California, where she sang her award-winning song, "Dai Zvaibvira," a tribute to her mom who died of cancer.
