A non-governmental organization is pushing for the transformation of Zimbabwe into a social democratic state as the country faces serious economic challenges.   Members of the Committee for the People’s Charter, launched by various civic groups in 2008, say it is possible to turn Zimbabwe into such a state, as long as citizens support this idea.
