The World Food Program says 1.5 million Zimbabweans face starvation following poor harvests this season. The UN agency adds that 56 percent of all children between the ages of 6 and 59 months suffer from anemia as a result.

Movement for Democratic Change leader Morgan Tsvangirai is today expected to address journalists at the Bulawayo Press Club on issues afflicting the nation and what he thinks can be the way forward.
