In a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa thanked his counterpart for supporting Zimbabwe through its international isolation and sanctions.
Mnangagwa asked Putin to help him develop Zimbabwe from "third world" country status.
