Transform Zimbabwe is going around the country meeting with the people

Sixteen members of the Transform Zimbabwe party, who were detained for five hours in Tsholotsho for distributing political material, have been released.

Interim president Jacob Satiya Ngarivhume said the 16 were released without charge following intense negotiations with the police.

Ngarivhume said he is currently touring Matabeleland, engaging people about the new party.

Transform Zimbabwe was formed in December 2013 at a Christian convention under the Prayer Network Zimbabwe banner.

"Our aim is to cultivate leaders from all walks of life whose inner spiritual transformation, both in the private and public life makes them examplary and role models for those they lead," said Ngarivhume.
