Police in Zimbabwe’s Masvingo town say they won’t be able to provide manpower for a planned march by political activists and church leaders, who claim that President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF government has failed to properly run the country resulting in the current social and economic problems.

We will give you details on clashes between political parties as the nation debates provisions of the proposed Local Government Laws Amendment Bill, which gives the Minister of Local Government powers to get rid of councilors and mayors.

Castle Lager Premier Soccer League action roars into week 10 with excitement in some quarters and chaos at one of the biggest football teams. Followers of Border Strikers are set to watch the local boys in action in their own backyard after the National Football Association of Zimbabwe approved the use of Dulivhadzimu Stadium for Castle Lager Premier Soccer League matches.

In cricket, the disappointing Zimbabwe national team hopes to save face when they take on India in the first of their three T20 matches at Harare Sports Club tomorrow.
