Some businesspeople in Masvingo claim that they are being forced by members of the Zanu PF Youth League to donate money for funding the so-called million-man-march set for Wednesday to show solidarity for 92 year-old President Robert Mugabe.

Doctors in Zimbabwe say there is a marked increase in cases of stroke in the country due to high stress levels fueled by a spike in non-communicable diseases like diabetes and hypertension.

The cash crisis is worsening in Zimbabwe amid concerns that the country is preparing to introduce bond notes, which the central bank says are meant to promote exports.
