The family of the late ZBC-TV actor and Kidznet presenter, Susan Muroyiwa, is still raising money to repatriate her body to Zimbabwe, a week after she died in Savannah, Georgia, USA.

Her daughter, Chiwoneso Mpofu, says they have raised almost $4,000 for ferrying the late Muroyiwa’s body home. They need about $11,000.

The family is using two internet-based crowd funding applications – youcaring.com and gofundme.com - to raise the money. More than $40,000 was raised recently for the late United States Students’ Achievers Program graduates, Nancy Tinoza and Morlene Tariro Magoronga, who also died in USA. Their bodies are expected to repatriated to Zimbabwe on Friday.

But Mpofu told VOA Studio 7 she is still struggling to raise money for her mother’s funeral back home.
