Bottom-Ranked Teams in Zimbabwe's Premier Soccer League Struggle to Avoid Relegation

With most teams just two games from the end of the season, relegation looms for teams at the bottom of the PSL log

The teams at the top of Zimbabwe's Premier Soccer League log are battling for the title while those at the bottom are struggling to stave off relegation to lower divisions.

Among them is Highway of Mutare, now sixth from the bottom. Highway must win at least two of its three remaining matches to avoid being relegated to Division One.

Highway Football Club Director Denali Yard tells VOA Studio 7 reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye he thinks the Premier League should stay relegation this season because of the extraordinary economic difficulties most teams have been facing.
