South Africans vote in most pivotal elections since apartheid

Ballots are being counted in South Africa after a nationwide poll that's been described as the most important in thirty years. That’s because the governing African National Congress could lose their overall majority for the first time. Polls officially closed at 9pm on Wednesday.
