About 300 opposition MDC-T youths demonstrated in Harare Thursday over the ongoing termination of workers and the deteriorating socio-economic situation in Zimbabwe.

The protesters were also calling for President Robert Mugabe to step down saying his Zanu PF government has failed to deliver on its jobs promise and rescue the country from economic turmoil.

There were no arrests reported.

MDC-T youth chairman Happmore Chidziva told Studio 7 they will roll out more protests, adding it is the duty of every Zimbabwe to join in and demand change.
