Highlanders FC Sign 3 New Players, Looking for More
WASHINGTON DC —
Highlanders Football Club says it has signed three top players and is on the verge of striking a deal with three others after losing two prolific strikers – Masimba Mambare and Njabulo Ncube.
Highlanders chairman Peter Dube said they have so far signed Welcome Ndiweni of Platinum FC, How Mine utility player Khumbulani Banda and Valentine Ndaba of Shabanie Mine in an effort to beef up their 2014 squad.
“We hope to sign these other three players but I am not at liberty right now to disclose their names as this would jeopardize negotiations with them,” said Dube.
