It’s been nearly a year since George Floyd was killed by a former Minneapolis police officer who pressed his knee on Floyd’s neck for nine minutes and twenty-nine seconds. Friends and family welcome the conviction of Floyd’s killer, Derek Chauvin, but continue to mourn his death.
