Elisabeth Valerio Becomes Sole Woman in Presidential Election

The leader of the United Zimbabwe Alliance, Elisabeth Valerio, has become the sole presidential candidate in the country's August 23 election. The Electoral Court granted her permission to contest the poll after the Nomination Court threw out her papers for submitting them late.
