WHO: Africa Swept by Spike in COVID-19 Deaths

The World Health Organization said Thursday that COVID-19 cases are rising steeply in Africa, having increased by one million in a month. "This COVID-19 resurgence is the fastest a continent has seen," said the U.N. agency's Africa director Matshidiso Moeti during a briefing in Brazzaville.
