Facing Congo's TP Mazembe, Zimbabwe's Monomotapa Reinstates Players

Zimbabwe's Monomotapa Football Club has reinstated four players suspended last week for allegedly inciting other members of the team to boycott training in a payment dispute.

Perhaps not coincidentally, Monomotapa is preparing for a Confederation of African Football Champions League return match Saturday at Rufaro Stadium in Harare against TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Monomotapa Treasurer Bekithemba Ndlovu told Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that his team is hoping for an upset after losing 5-0 to TP Mazembe in their first-round match.
