A former MDC-T councilor in Chinhoyi is arraigned before the courts under the controversial Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act which criminalizes insults on the president. Tendai Musonza is alleged to have insulted and undermined the office of the president last week following President Mugabe’s near fall in India.

Tensions continue between Zanu PF and MDC supporters in Hopley, Harare South, following violence that erupted yesterday.

And divisions are widening in the grouping of former Zanu PF gurus who were either suspended or fired from the party for allegedly supporting Vice President Joice Mujuru.
