imbabwe’s Constitutional Court has struck off the country’s statues a section of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act which criminalized defamation. According to press reports, the full bench of the Constitutional Court ruled that Section 31 of the Criminal Code “had the effect of interfering with the exercise of the right to freedom of expression.”
