India Beat Zimbabwe Under-19 in First Game of ODI Series

Zimbabwe’s under-19 cricket team started its opening match of the quadrangular one day series in Bangalore with a 148 run loss against their hosts India on Monday. The series started ends Sunday. Zimbabwe play South Africa in their next match Friday. Sports commentator Dean du Plesis says despite the poor showing of the junior team in India, it’s a step in the right direction as it will provide the players with the much-needed international exposure. Other countries in the series include Australia, South Africa and India. Du Plesis spoke with Studio 7’s Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye earlier on.
