Zimbabwe's junior cricket players are getting a chance to grab the attention of national talent scouts this week with tournaments organized by age group under way in Harare, Bulawayo, Mutare and Masvingo.
Play started yesterday and runs through Friday.
Zimbabwe Cricket Media Manager Jeffrey Murimbechi told VOA Studio 7 reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye his organization will be looking for players who can later be recruited to the national team.
Murimbechi added that the inaugural inter-franchise age-group tournaments would provide a hunting ground for future teams to represent the country.
