WASHINGTON DC —
Zimbabwe Warriors drew one all today with Swaziland in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group L qualifier match at Somhlolo Stadium.
The result means that Swaziland remain on top of the group tied on five points with the Warriors but leading Group L due to a superior goal difference.
If the Warriors win their next match, they will be on top of the group, making it easy for them to travel to Guinea for the Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Warriors’ fans say the draw was the least expected result from the national soccer team, which was rocked by a match fixing scandal before the game.
