HARARE —
A car in which Justice Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa was travelling in on Wednesday evening was involved in an accident with a minibus belonging to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
Police, hospital authorities and government officials were not available for comment last night. The condition of the minister and staff members in the minibus, donated to the Ophthalmic School of Nursing by the European Union, could not be ascertained.
Mnangagwa, who is a senior official in President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu PF party, has been in government since the country attained independence from British rule in 1980.
