Former Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation and South African Broadcasting Corporation news anchor, Alyce Chavhunduka, who died in South Africa last week, was buried at the Glen Forest Cemetery this afternoon.
Family members, relatives’ friends and former workmates described Alice as a fine and accomplished broadcaster.
Elder brother, Davis, said her death is a great loss to the Chavhunduka family.
Radio Voice of the People executive director, John Masuku, who worked with Alyce at ZBC described her as a professional broadcaster who could not stay long at the national broadcaster as she was snapped by the South African Broadcasting Corporation because of her outstanding talent.
Alyce was found lying unconscious in her house on New Year ’s Eve in Johannesburg and taken to hospital where she died a week later.
