Seventeen MDC-T supporters arrested Sunday for alleged public violence are granted bail of $200 each but their party is protesting that the amount charged by the court is too high for struggling ordinary people.

A Goromonzi man, Moenda Mbera, is arrested for allegedly insulting President Robert Mugabe using vulgar language. The Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights is representing him.

One of the MDC-T youth allegedly attacked yesterday by Zanu PF supporters is expected to be operated on today in a private Harare hospital.

And a daughter of a former Zimbabwean journalist based in the U.K. has invented a time-saving coffee cup for busy students, workers and business executives.
