The son of Zimbabwe's Industry Minister Welshman Ncube, leader of one of the MDC formations who died in a car crash was buried on Tuesday at the Westpark cemetery in Bulawayo.
Nineteen-year-old Ntabiso lost his life when his double-cab Toyota vehicle veered off the road and rammed into a perimeter wall in a Harare suburb early Saturday.
He was reading for a law degree at the Rhodes University in South Africa, and different speakers eulogized him as a promising young man who was taking after his father.
Ncube is a distinguished constitutional lawyer who has contributed greatly in past and current constitutional reform efforts, and political processes as a politician.
The burial was attended by politicians from across the divide, including Zanu PF, the MDC wing of Morgan Tsvangirai, Ncube's own MDC party and Zapu, among others.
"We were humbled to see people setting aside their political differences and joining the Ncube family as Zimbabweans in grieving their loss," said MDC official Qhubani Moyo.
