WASHINGTON DC —
A Grade One pupil at Plumtree’s Bambadzi Primary School who went missing Tuesday was found dead and hanging from a tree on Thursday.
Sources say police are treating the death of six-year-old Tumelo Ndlovu as a murder after he was allegedly lured from his classmates by a female suspect, leading to his disappearance and death.
Graphic images seen by Studio 7 showed the boy’s body heavily bruised and still in school uniforms. Tumelo’s school mates are said to be traumatized and villagers say they suspect a ritual murderer may be on the prowl.
Police have questioned one suspect, but no arrests yet. Bambadzi villager Difa Dube told VOA Studio 7 the entire village is in shock and disbelief.
