A gas tanker fire in Nigeria has killed numerous people and injured many others.
Some reports say more than 100 were killed, while others says the death toll is much less.
The fire ignited Thursday at a gas plant in the town of Nnewi, Anambra state, when a gas truck exploded after unloading its contents. Reports say the resulting fire burned to death many of the people standing in line to refill their cooking gas canisters.
The injured were taken to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi. It is not clear how many people were hurt.
The fire is reported to have burned for hours.
