A break-in at Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s office raises eyebrows as factionalism worsens in the ruling Zanu PF party.

A senior academic and politician says the possible collapse of the Zanu PF government due to intra-party fighting as well as an unrelenting economic crisis could result in civil war in the country.

Hungry villagers start selling cattle for as little as $30 per beast to raise money to buy food as a dry spell threatens to cause havoc in most parts of Zimbabwe.

The drought situation is worsening in Mashonaland West province where villagers are now depending on one meal a day.

And President Barack Obama tells his nation that America is the strongest country in the world and it can become tougher if the country respects other people’s religions.
