South Africa Cricket Team Takes 2-0 Edge Over Zimbabwe in International Series

The Zimbabwean national cricket team Tuesday lost to South Africa by 212 runs in day two of a series of one-day internationals in Centurion, South Africa. South Africa posted 331 runs and Zimbabwe were all out with an inferior score of 119 runs.

Zimbabwe Sunday by 45 runs, though former captain Tatenda Taibu scored 103.

The loss comes as the Zimbabwean national team is edging its way back to international test status with the help of South Africa Cricket, with which it recently restored ties.

Zimbabwe Manager Anesu Kafesu told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye that despite Zimbabwe's straight losses to South Africa the series is offering valuable experience.
