The Zimbabwe Football Association was expected Tuesday to name the new coach of the national Warriors team as a short list of Brazilian contenders emerged.
Soccer sources said ZIFA had narrowed its list of candidates down to Jose Antonio Martins, Jose Cleber Oliveira, Jose Nogueira and Jorge Luizdarcelos da Silva.
Sports commentator Michael Kariati told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye that despite the benefits which might accrue to Zimbabwean soccer by the engagement of a Brazilian coach, language differences could be a stumbling block for the team.
