Having been fined Z$250 million (US$500) dollars by the Premier Soccer League disciplinary committee for unruliness by its fans, Caps United Football Club returns to Barbourfields Stadium this weekend for a CBZ Cup semi-final against Highlanders.
A match between the two teams at the Bulawayo stadium on August 11 had to be abandoned after Caps United threw missiles onto the pitch after a referee awarded a penalty kick to Highlanders, sparking mayhem in the Caps United stands.
Caps United team captain Method Mwanjali told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that team management has advised players to respect referee calls and exercise discipline during Sunday’s match.
