Zimbabwe's select cricket team lost to India's "A" team Friday by nine wickets on the last day of a four-day unlimited overs match played at the Harare Sports Club.
Zimbabwe Cricket spokesman Blessing Maulgue said that despite Zimbabwe's spirited performance - boosted by the return of former captain Tatenda Taibu after a two-year absence - the Indians proved the stronger. A second leg follows in Bulawayo.
Maulgue reviewed the match in an interview with sports reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe.
