The Zimbabwe Football Association’s proposal to hire a foreign coach to replace sacked Warriors head coach Charles Mhlauri has stirred further controversy.
Former ZIFA Chairman Rafik Khan said he doubts ZIFA can afford a foreign coach whose salary could run to US$25,0000 a month plus other perquisites.
VOA's Studio 7 For Zimbabwe sports reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye sought comment from former ZIFA Southern Region Board Member Leonard Nkala and Premier Soccer League Secretary General Kennedy Ndebele.
Nkala charged that talk of a foreign coach is meant to cover up ZIFA mismanagement.
