Despite calls for the sacking of coach Charles Mhlauri of Zimbabwe's national soccer team after the squad's relegation from the 2008 Africa Cup Of Nations at the hands of Morocco on Saturday, sports analysts say the Zimbabwe Football Association could find its hands tied by Mhlauri's contract, which runs through 2010.
Commentator Michael Kariati told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that ZIFA is under pressure from fans to sack Mhlauri but is bound by a commitment to Mhlauri through the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
