Coach Misheck Chidzambwa of Zimbabwe's Young Warriors team says he is confident his players under the age of 23 will deliver the goods in the second leg of their Olympic qualifying round against Cameroon Sunday in Yaounde.
The team leaves for Cameroon on Thursday for the crucial qualifier after a 1-1 draw in the first leg played on Feb. 7 at Rufaro Stadium in Harare.
The senior team is set for an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Morocco this weekend in Harare. The double booking posed a dilemma for players Washington Arubi, Evans Gwekwerere, and Onismo Bhasera as they serve on both squads.
But Chidzambwa told reporter Marvellous Mhlanga-Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe that the development team bowed to the needs of the national squad.
