Zimbabwe soccer fans were turning their attention to Trojan Mine, Bindura, where the country's two contenders in pan-African football tournaments, Highlanders and Mwana Africa, were to face off Saturday in the Nestle Charity Shield Tournament.
A second leg will unfold at Barbourfields Stadium, Bulawayo, on Feb. 25. Both teams are using the matches to hone their edge for African-wide competitions, Highlanders in the Africa Champions League and Mwana Africa in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Reporter Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye of Studio Seven asked sports commentator Michael Kariati about the mood of fans ahead of the game in Bindura.
