Zimbabwe Warriors Coach Charles Mlauri said Wednesday that he is trying to line up friendly matches with other African teams before a crucial qualifying match against Morocco next month for entry to the 2008 Africa Nations Cup competition.
The Warriors recently had to call off a friendly match against Lesotho because the Zimbabwe Football Association failed to come up with funds for travel.
Mlauri admitted he was frustrated by that episode, but was now exploring other ways of preparing his team for the qualifier against Morocco, to be played in Harare.
Mlauri talked with reporter Marvellous Mhlanga Nyahuye of VOA's Studio 7 for Zimbabwe about his efforts to prepare the Warriors for the big match.
